We are in Cicogna, the “capital” of the ValGrande National Park, the largest wild area in the entire Alpine arc and in all of Italy, in a village at 732m above sea level, permanently inhabited by about 25 people.

Casa Celestina is an old house located in the center of the village, completely renovated to offer hospitality to tourists and hikers. It allows guests to live an authentic experience in the mountains, in a house with an ancient and lived-in flavor, where private and common spaces intertwine and become complementary, inviting guests, if they wish, to live together and share moments of the day.

How to reach us?
The road from Fondotoce to Cicogna can be traveled in about 30 minutes. After Rovegro there is a tunnel with a maximum height of 2.70m.
The closest train station is Verbania-Pallanza, and the closest airport is Milan-Malpensa. Also in Verbania (Pallanza and Intra) there is a pier and ferry service throughout the Lago Maggiore. Unfortunately, there is yet no public transport that runs from Verbania to Cicogna.
It is also possible to reach Cicogna by foot along a path that starts from Cossogno (reachable by public transport) lasting about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Free parking is available in the center of the town and along the dirt road that leads to the helicopter rescue area.
